Chris Barrett

Chris has had a passion for aviation for as long as he can remember.  He took his first flight lesson at age 15 and worked as an aviation line laborer at the Quantico Marine Corps Flying Club as his first job.  Chris now enjoys sharing his passion with others while instructing in single and multi-engine airplanes, seaplanes, and gliders.  In addition to R9AA, he has served on the boards of other aviation education non-profits including the Cloud Fund and the Blue Ridge Soaring Society, as well as his church.  Chris has logged over 4,000 mishap-free flight hours, including over 2,000 hours of flight instruction, in over 50 models of aircraft.
