President
Jeremy DeBons
Jeremy is our founder and President. He has called Ready 9 his home on three different aircraft carriers on multiple deployments. He loves to share his passion for aviation with others and hopes more people find the same passion. He started his flying career in the US Navy as an F/A-18 operational and test pilot, and began flying civilian airplanes after graduating from the French Test Pilot School. He has flown over 4,500 mishap-free flight hours in over 130 different types of aircraft.

Vice President
Chris Barrett
Chris has had a passion for aviation for as long as he can remember. He took his first flight lesson at age 15 and worked as an aviation line laborer at the Quantico Marine Corps Flying Club as his first job. Chris now enjoys sharing his passion with others while instructing in single and multi-engine airplanes, seaplanes, and gliders. In addition to R9AA, he has served on the boards of other aviation education non-profits including the Cloud Fund and the Blue Ridge Soaring Society, as well as his church. Chris has logged over 4,000 mishap-free flight hours, including over 2,000 hours of flight instruction, in over 50 models of aircraft.

Treasurer
Brad Tribley
Beginning his flying career as a private pilot and flight test engineer, Brad would later join the US Navy to become a naval aviator with flying tours in the T-45C and F/A-18 series aircraft. Brad has flown in both operational and developmental flight test tours while also instructing in general aviation with a focus on tailwheel training. As a graduate of the US Naval Test Pilot School, Brad has flown over 3,200 mishap-free flight hours in civilian and military aircraft.

Secretary
Cain Sauer
Originally from Port Arthur, Texas, Cain served in the US Navy for 21 years and subsequently worked as an aircraft electrician for the US Army in Afghanistan. Upon returning home, he became actively involved in community service, holding various roles with the Fleet Reserve Association, Operation Warrior Refuge, and Southern Maryland Battle Buddies. Additionally, he owned a custom skateboard deck company and volunteers in numerous STEM programs with the Saint Mary’s County Public School system.
